The Laguna is an abstract statuette which takes its inspiration from earliest sculpture. Like Cycladic figures which represent objects in un-embelished forms and attitudes, our artist has cast the Laguna into a circle, the most basic of artistic forms, uniting it with with a rough hand-hammered finish which speaks of brute strength.
